That's right, Sunday is the big day. It's hard to believe that it's the 44th annual. Even harder to believe that we've been in 26 of them! Yep, this is our 26th year. MY FRIENDS AND I owe it all to you our loyal customers. By the way we consider all of you the FRIENDS in MY FRIENDS AND I!! Come by and say hello if your in town.

Antique Faire reminder

Niles Hot August Car Show

Tomorrow Saturday August 16th is the Hot August Car show in Niles. So come to Niles bring your Guy and let him enjoy all the cars lining Niles Blvd. And while he's doing that your can SHOP! Lots of Halloween has arrived and is now in the store. Hope to see you soon.

Look to the right and see the cute little magnet that will we will be giving out at MY FRIENDS AND I. We have been doing a different one to announce our Open House for years. It will stay displayed here on the blog till after the event, so you can always be reminded of the date.
You won't want to miss this event so come in and get a magnet for your frig and be sure to save the date on your calendars.

Brand new merchandise just in today

Darling little ironing board and Iron, and the children's tea set (looks like Fiesta tableware).

Oak side board. It's not too big, just right for our smaller dining rooms. Also would be great in an entry or just about any other room in your house.

I did some re-arrangeing in the store over the last few days. I get started and things get tore up for a day or two, but finially come together. Thought you'd like to see a few pictures.

We call these photo's instant ancestors. Even if you don't know who they are it's fun to think about who they were and what their lifes were like. I can't resist them. I hate to think of any old photo's ending up in the trash, and sadly so many of them do. We have several in the shop right now, why not come in and pick one out and give them a spot in your home. Somewhere you can see them so you can sit and wonder about them as I do.
