Since my last post (see post from yesterday ) about Wildflower events, I received this flyer.

Lots of fun in town on Sunday.  Come on down.

Lots of  FUN in Niles this Sunday. 
The Wildflower Art, Garden, and Quilt show is taking place on that day.  Come and see the beautiful quilts on display and vendors on the sidewalk with things to sell.  
For only $15.00 you can tour some gardens located here in Niles and as if that's not enough to fill the day, there will be music in the plaza from 11 - 4.  
Of course MY FRIENDS AND I will be open and even have some neat garden stuff for sale out front.  Bird houses, etc.

Mother's day then and now.  Not much has changed.  Have a great one.

The Niles car show is this Sat.  Bring your guys to look at cars and you shop.  This was just a few of the cars that lined Niles Blvd. last year.
It's a fun event.  Cars, music and of course shopping.

Mary has been in MY FRIENDS AND I for 25 years and still loves every minute of it!

When someone asks Mary what she collects she says EVERYTHING!, but some of her favorite things are, vintage childrens items, fabric (lots of fabric) buttons and old vintage class school pictures of young children.

  All these things pluse lots more make her heart flutter.

Day at the beach

I spent the day at one of my favorite places anywhere.  The State Park in Half Moon Bay.  It's a great beach to go to.   There are picnik tables right at the edge of the beach where you can have lunch without all the sand and still see the ocean.  An added plus was the field of flowers blooming all around our table.
Today I found more pieces of sea glass than I have ever found there before.  It was so fun walking along the beach and searching for it among the broken shells.  It's hard to find and I did a lot of beach walking just to gather what I did.  Notice the 2 blue pieces. It's the hardest to find.

Lynn is dealer # 5 in MY FRIENDS AND I and even though she loves lots of different kinds of things  her first love is minatures.   She said that ever since she was a small child she has always been drawn to tiny things. So much so that she belongs to a club devoted to collecting minatures.   

She carries some really sweet minatures in her booth.  I don't have a doll house but I want some for a little cabinet I have.  They would look so cute!
