Don't forget Flag Day tomorrow

Niles Main Street is hosting a very informal program at the flag pole Thurs. June 14th 6:00 pm.

The train Musuem will be open and there will be cookies.

Also a little birdie told me that The Nile Cafe will be handing out scoops of ice cream.  YUM!

I know that it's not July yet, but Flag Day is June 14th so it was time for me to break out some Red, White and Blue.   As you browse the store you will notice lots of red items.  It's one of my favorite colors any time of the year. 

Speaking of Flag Day. The Niles Main Street Association is having an informal celebration of Flag Day on June 14th 6:00 in the Niles plaza. We'll gather around the flag pole for a short program which will include the Pledge of Allegiance and a song. Cookies will be served and the Niles Depot Museum will be open where you can see the pieces from the orginal Niles flag pole on display.

Since my last post (see post from yesterday ) about Wildflower events, I received this flyer.

Lots of fun in town on Sunday.  Come on down.

Lots of  FUN in Niles this Sunday. 
The Wildflower Art, Garden, and Quilt show is taking place on that day.  Come and see the beautiful quilts on display and vendors on the sidewalk with things to sell.  
For only $15.00 you can tour some gardens located here in Niles and as if that's not enough to fill the day, there will be music in the plaza from 11 - 4.  
Of course MY FRIENDS AND I will be open and even have some neat garden stuff for sale out front.  Bird houses, etc.
