4th of July Clipart

I know I've told you all about this great site for free clipart and graphics but thought I'd share it again. Don't the bears look like they are dancing a jig? These and more are on this site just click HERE to see them. You could do all kinds of stuff with them. Cards, hangtags, magnets, etc. etc. etc. If you know of any great web sites you'd like to share email me the web page and I'll check them out. They may show up on this blog one day.

This picture is of Gary Mills who is a Niles resident and owns this wonderful vintage truck. He has it all decorated to drive in the Mission San Jose 4th of July parade. He had a blast driving it around on Sunday during the Plaza Concert. He said "hop on board" and I did! Make sure you look at the post below this one to see more pictures.

First Niles Plaza Concert and Red White and Blue

If you missed the concert you missed a really fun day. We are hoping to have more through out the summer so keep checking this blog for event news.
The first set of pictures are along Niles Blvd. and the house is back on 2nd Street. Don't you love it?
The last pictures are of the concert and Michael McNevin who is a Niles resident, a musician and all around good guy. He's also the guy who put the summer concerts together and is finding the musicians to entertain us. There were lots of people there enjoying the day including some of MY FRIENDS AND I customers who received our email about the event.

Concert at the Plaza

Hey everyone Niles is having it's first Summer Concert in the Niles Town Plaza. If you haven't seen our new plaza yet this would be a perfect time to come and check it out.
Don't forget to come in and tell us how you liked the concert and see what's new at MY FRIENDS AND I. We're soooo happy to be right across the street from the action. We will be rocking to the music right from inside the shop.

Description

Niles Town Plaza Summer Concert series opens with Wooster who are quickly gaining notoriety as a band not to miss. Hailing from the Coastal town of Santa Cruz in California’s Bay area region, they are on the move in 2010 spreading their music and passion statewide. Wooster opens the Niles series with Michael McNevin.

I spent the afternoon playing with this new blog look .
It was time for a change and it was kind of fun once I got the hang of it! They say learning new things keeps your mind alert. Well I learned enough today to last me a month. LOL

Milk Glass

If your mother was like mine she had "MILK GLASS". Although for a while it wasn't very popular it's making a come back on the collecting scene. It's so pretty to use alone or to mix and match with other pretty dishes. If your planning a tea or just love white, you need to come in and see the we have on display right now. With the Shabby Chic look so popular the pretty pieces we have won't last long.
