Valentine Day

I THOUGHT this was so cute and so fits
MY FRIENDS AND I.
As many of you already know our business card is a vintage playing card that we laminate and give out to customers to use as a book marks and as if this illustration isn't cute enough it has playing cards on it! A PERFECT Valentine to from us to you.
Remember you can have a bookmark every time you come in, if we forget to offer, just ask!
Here is one more Valentine thought for you that I found in an old Mary Engelbreit magazine I was looking at last night.
Love may not make the world go round, but I must admit that it makes the ride worthwhile. Sean Connery, actor.

At Last!

Most of the fences are now down in front of the plaza and it's open for walking and there are benches for just sitting and looking at our beautiful hills. Come by and see how wonderful the Plaza turned out. There will be an officical Grand Opening sometime this Spring.
The next picture is of a few new things that just arrived at the shop. We went to the Las Vegas Gift Show (I know it rough, but someone had to do it. LOL) and new merchandise will start arriving soon. The weather is getting better and Spring is on it's way. Come visit Niles soon.

What's your favorite cookie?

MINE are Snickerdoodles! See below the picture for a recipe I found this evening and that I'm going to make sometime this week. They sound wonderful.
Five ingredients—including white cake mix—get these cinnamon-sugar cookies in the oven in just 20 minutes!Makes: About 4 Dozen Cookies

1
package Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® white cake mix
1/4
cup vegetable oil
2
eggs
2
tablespoons sugar
1
teaspoon ground cinnamon
1.
Heat oven to 350°. Mix cake mix, oil and eggs in large bowl with spoon until dough forms (some dry mix will remain).
2.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Mix sugar and cinnamon in small bowl. Roll balls in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
3.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.

Happy baking!!!

SWEET!

Kay in space # 7 just got these sweet little Valentine girls in. They are soooo cute. Even though they have lots of hearts on them they could stay out all year long.
