I'm in IL.

Well I'm now in IL. and officially buying goodies for the shop. These are just a few of the things I've already picked up. Tomorrow we are going to a BIG monthly Antique show in Blooming where I'm sure to find lots of great stuff.
Look at that cute over night case in the photo. It's two toned, blue and tan, I don't think I've ever had one like it. Just a reminder that you can try and click on the pictures to make them larger, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't who knows why! Check the blog often for more photo's and updates about my trip.
P.S. We have had some awsome weather. THUNDER, lighting and lots of rain. More in 2 hours than we probably get in one month in Fremont during the winter. It comes down thick and hard. This Native Fremont Gal is enjoying it!

What a great day is was in Niles for Flag Day. These beautiful quilts were made by the local chapter of the nation wide "Quilts of Valor". The material's and time are donated. Each quilt gets sent to a military person who was injured in the war. They were wonderful.

From the inside out

Can't get enough of Red, White and Blue. Lots of the stores in town are decorating for Flag Day this Sunday. It looks so pretty. I even like looking from the inside of the store out the windows.

Look how cute these guys are. Wouldn't they look good in your Red, White and Blue decorating?

More of the good ol' red, white and blue

As I told you in the last post the windows are decked out for Flag Day June 14th, here are some more pictures to get you in the spirit.

The Good Ol' Red, White and Blue

Spent yesterday doing up the store windows for the June 14th Flag Day celebration in Niles. The Niles Veteran's Assoc. and the Niles Main Street Assoc. are hosting the event on Sunday June 14, 1:00 to 2:00. There will be band music, speakers and the raising of a new flag by a color guard. It's also the 5 year anniversary of the new flag pole that was erected here in Niles. It's a day of celebrating our flag. Mark you calendars and join us.

You could win this Vintage Watering Can arrangement. Just fill out an entry form each time you make a purchase from now till July 31.
