The instructions for this cute heart hanging is here it's on Martha's web page. I seem to remember making something like this in school years (Many) ago. And I think I made this with my kids. Wax paper and crayons is what you need. Pretty cute.

If your reading this blog it means that your at the right place. I just got an email that I put the wrong www address on the cards we pass out. Forgot niles. Really I have got to get my head on straight! I am going to make a sticker to go over that part on the label. I just can't seem to help making more work for myself or should I say for the girls at the shop, cause I'm going to make them do it when they work.
Sometimes it's good to be the one who gives the orders. LOL
What beautiful weather we're having. Why not get out and come to shop today and see what's new.

I loved Savannah and Charleston but it's good to be home!
We spent a lot of time site seeing and taking in local culture. The Victorian homes in both cities were spectacular as were the beaches, light houses and museums we saw. We visited lots of cemeteries and I must admit I have a thing for them. Some were from the 17 and 18 hundreds and the head stones were works of art. We even went on a night walking tour of cemeteries in Charleston. FUN. The gal who led the tour was a great ghost story teller. Of course every place in Savannah and Charleston is said to be haunted, even the B&B's we stayed at. Most of the supposed ghosts were real people, so learned a lot of history about the cities with each story.
I bought lots of really cute stuff at the Gift Show in Atlanta. It will start coming soon. I will post pictures and I put in all in the shop.

I'm off to spring market in Atlanta tomorrow. I'm sooooo excited. Not only am I going to the gift show which is where I find all the cute wonderful new merchandise for the store, but my girl friend from Sonora, her daughter and one of my daughters are going from Atlanta on a road trip to Savannah and Charleston. I will take pictures and see if I can get my daughter with her trusty iphone to post some here on the blog for me. Great fun!

Have you ever wished someone would make you a cake? I'd like one just like in the picture below please. Speaking of cakes. Anyone want to share recipes of your favorite? Email them to me and I will try and put them on the blog to share with everyone. I'm thinking that it would be a fun addition that everyone would enjoy. By the way, we're handing out another free recipe in the store this month. It's called Apple Dewies and it's yummy. Stop by and pick up your copy.

Bo is the talented new dealer just in the shop on the second. She makes the cutest doll outfits that fit the American Girl doll or any doll that size. I mean they are so cute, forget the doll and just hang them as a wall decoration. She also does vintage metal trays made into memo boards with button magnets. The scottie is a picture of one. She has lots to choose from. She also makes wonderful jewelry, not pictured.

Also going on in the back 2 of our dealers Joanne and Diane have split the last space and are busy filling it up with some pretty neat stuff.

Come by soon and see it all. And sign up for the drawing I told you about in the last post.

Well I've got the 30 packets made up for the drawing this month. Really fun putting all this together. Here's what's included. A page from a vintage music book and a 1936 yearbook. A vintage postcard, black and white photo, greeting card, valentine, bingo card and 10 cute playing cards, like the ones we laminate for our business cards and buttons thrown in just for the heck of it. There will also be a discount coupon that can be used in February.

You can win a packet by entering the drawing each time you come to the shop. For a one time entry chance you can email me that you want to win or make a comment on my facebook post. I will then put your name in the drawing. BUT the best and most fun way to enter is to come in the shop of course!

How every thing looks all bagged up.
