This is a sign that I've seen thousands of times when entering Niles from Mission Blvd. 

I found this on line while messing around and it had me doing a second look.  Everything looks different when you single it out in a photo.  A little cropping (car, etc) and it would make a great postcard to send to friends and family.

Spring time in Niles is so pretty.   These wild roses with the flag in the back ground, perfect!

We get the most beautiful views from my back yard.  These are the hills along Mission Blvd. by Stevenson.   Look at that color.  I almost missed it when I ran in to get my camera.
Take time to enjoy nature.  It's always wonderful.

This is pretty cute.  Made from those free paint chip samples you get at Home Depot, Lowes, etc.

I have seen lots of crafts with these and every time I go to one of these stores I think I should gather some up, But then I think, there are probably cameras watching me (they are everywhere) and someone is saying "would you look at that lady swipeing all our chips" LOL

I was just reading the Argus and they have a vote for your favorite everything going on. You can vote for your favorite shopping dist. and stores.

Well...........I just voted for MY FRIENDS AND I (yes I did!) We are constantly b...eing told by customers that we are their favorite store. If we're yours then go  HERE and vote for us. It's easy! I put Niles Dist. Fremont in shopping area and put My Friends and I - Antiques, Gifts under Boutique. I'll have to try and get a listing for Antiques next year. They will have the winners in BEST OF THE EAST BAY Sunday, May 19th. Hope we make one of the best!

I don't know about all of you, but I'm feeling that Spring is here.  It may rain some more, but for today I am lovin' the weather.  We just got back late Sunday evening on a 2 week whirl wind trip to Colorado.  COLD, SNOW, ICE, and not my favorite place in the winter.  We spent one night in Wyoming and it was 9 degrees.  We had our truck and camper and a great heater, plus an electric on the bed so we were warm and snug.   I was born and raised in Fremont and this weather is why I live in Calif.
